Small size House of Al-Suqaf, the historic palace that was considered the seat of rule during the reign of King Abdulaziz. The palace is located in Mecca, Al-Maabda neighborhood, which King Abdulaziz purchased from the Al-Suqaf family. King Abdulaziz entered Mecca in 1343 AH, thus announcing the beginning of the Saudi rule over the Hejazi lands. The people of Mecca pledged allegiance to King Abdulaziz for his accession to power, and King Abdulaziz made the House of Al-Suqaf a palace of rule in Mecca.
